MONTESSORI CHILDREN's CENTER WONDERWORLD

Our Programms

Group for children 1-6 years (Full day or half day program)

“Within the child lies the fate of the future.” M. Montessori.

In our Center, children are engaged in needlework, baking bread, grinding coffee, washing and ironing, making bouquets, sculpting from clay and dough, and painting pictures. At the same time, they learn new letters and numbers, laws of mathematics and language, read books, study maps of the world, and solve problems. Here, children receive comprehensive development and learn to be creative and find solutions in challenging situations. A wise, creative and professional team of teachers helps them in these difficult matters! In our center you will find a wide variety of materials for the development of the child’s speech, the development of his large, fine motor skills, and coordination of movement. The space in the group is specially arranged so that the child can learn to be independent and communicate with others.

“As soon as children find something that interests them they lose their instability and learn to concentrate.” M. Montessori

It looks like an ordinary kindergarten, but for children behind these walls there is an entire universe that they can explore as true pioneers.

In it, there is so much to explore, admire rainbow soap bubbles, paint, draw, and colorize. Children can even make a delicious pie, do laundry like a mother  or knock with a hammer like a dad. In short, the whole world and the necessary tools to understand is at their feet.

“Education is a natural process carried out by the human individuals, and is acquired not by listening to words, but by experiences in the environment.” M. Montessori

The space of the Montessori pre-school is usually organized in a special way. According to the Montessori method, the child’s space is divided into five zones:

  • a zone of practical life – here children acquire necessary domestic skills (button fastening and tying of shoelaces, washing hands, etc.);
  • a zone of sensory development – the child is offered materials that develop his/her senses;
  • a mathematical zone – child learn to count, discover sizes, geometrical forms etc.
  • a language zone – in this corner children can learn to read and write;
  • a cosmic zone – here the child studies the surrounding world, receiving firsthand knowledge from the field of biology, physics, geography etc.

The child himself chooses between those zones based on his or her interests.

Your child can begin at the Montessori children’s center Wonderworld  from the age of 1 year old. We work with parents to create a program that allows children to comfortably adapt to the group.

A full-time program is offered provided the child is ready based on the teacher’s observations and recommendations.

Every community of people has rules. The  Montessori group has rules too. They are few, they are clear and often made together with children. For example, they are such as:

  • “We do not disturb each other; if we are asked, we help.”
  • “In our class, everyone knows every material should be put back in place”
  • “When one person speaks, others listen”
  • “We respect each other and do not interfere with each other.”

Children who attend Montessori groups are able to make their own decisions, make choices and organize their time. The child acquires skills of concentration at work, and such qualities as self-control and the desire to explore and learn. Children visiting Montessori groups can easily adapt to a team, as they are able to negotiate, exchange ideas and discuss their work with others.

Welcome to our cozy group of early development, where you and your baby will gain support, new knowledge and new friends!
